There were lots and lots of smiles in the Quincy High gym on Friday as elementary students took part in the QPS Special Olympics! From the opening ceremony to parachute games and trampolines, there were fun activities for all of our students–and we always love these days when our entire community comes together.
We thank everyone who worked so hard to make this event successful: our Special Education administrators, teachers, and paraprofessionals for coordinating this event and leading our students through the day; NQHS & QHS Early Education & Care students for manning the activity stations and supporting and encouraging our students; and our many volunteers and parent visitors.
Most of all, we congratulate our student participants for their outstanding efforts and sportsmanship!
