PROGRAM INFORMATION:

𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 -
Bridge to High School Summer Institute is designed to provide support for incoming 9th grade students allowing them to feel comfortable and confident as they prepare for their high school transition in the fall! Over this three week program, courses will review middle school prerequisite content standards and introduce students to new and interesting concepts and topics necessary for freshman coursework.

𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 -
Elevate Math & Science is a three week insititute for students entering grades 10 and 11 seeking academic continuity and enrichment as they prepare for their fall math and science coursework. Summer coursework will be designed to enhance understanding of prerequisite standards and provide support for students to feel comfortable and confident for next year's coursework.

𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡 -
The Hands on Math program will be integrated into the four (4) week Summer Boost program for students entering grade 6-8. Students will deepen their understanding of number sense and pre-algrebra skills through a variety of hands-on activities. The lessons will focus on priority standards and use concrete and pictorial representations so students can strengthen their knowledge and build mastery of math concepts.

Quincy Quest Summer Program  will provide students with a variety of summer enrichment activities.

𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 - 8:30am - 11:30am  


𝐒𝐀𝐓 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩 -
SAT Prep will focus on preparing students for the Reading, Writing, Language, and Math test. Students complete practice exams and develop test-taking strategies to help them perform at their best when sitting for a SAT exam.

𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 - North Quincy High School

𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 - 9:00am - 11:00am  


𝐒𝐧𝐮𝐠 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 -
Snug Harbor Summer School will provide creative summertime academic and social emotional learning opportunities for students entering grades 1-5. Teachers will create and implement hands-on activities designed to engage and motivate children of all ages. Small class sizes allow teachers to provide each student with an individualized experience.

𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐌 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲 -
Summer STEM Academy at Central Middle School is for students entering grade 6-8 and will provide high-interest learning opportunities, keeping students academically engaged in STEM experiences.

𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 - 8:30am - 11:30am  


𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐭 -
Summer Boost will focus on core academic areas (ELA, Science and Social Studies) for grades 6-8 with the intention of boosting and accelerating learning directly aligned to prerequisite standards for each grade-level.
