Dear Quincy Public Schools Parents and Guardians of Students Entering Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and Grades 1-3,
At
their August 13, 2020 meeting, the Quincy School Committee voted to
implement two learning models for students entering Pre-Kindergarten,
Kindergarten, and Grades 1-3. (The complete Quincy Public Schools Reentry Design Plan can be found here.)
Parents/guardians may opt for their student to participate in:
(1) full remote learning OR
(2) the hybrid learning model
- Pre-Kindergarten
students will attend school in person four half-days per week (either
mornings or afternoons on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday).
- Kindergarten students will attend school in person four half-days
per week (either mornings or afternoons on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday,
and Friday) and have a half day of remote learning on
Wednesday (early release day).
- Grades
1-3 students will be scheduled to attend school in person either on
Monday/Tuesday or Thursday/Friday with all students having remote
learning on Wednesday (early release day) and full days of remote
learning on the two days students are not scheduled to be in school.
Please click on this link to fill out the enrollment form for your student in Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, or Grades 1-3. Please fill out a separate form for each student in those grades.
Sincerely,
Kevin W. Mulvey, J.D.
