Dear Students and Families

Quincy Public Schools Career Vocational and Technical Education (CVTE) Program provides practical instruction and valuable intellectual content alongside academics. Programs at both North Quincy and Quincy High School will continue to foster a stimulating learning environment for our CVTE and CTE students during these extended school closures.

Our CVTE staff members are trained, experienced, and state-certified in the career field they teach. While we certainly can’t replicate the learning that takes place in our traditional classrooms, studios, and shops, Quincy's CVTE teachers are committed to designing remote learning opportunities related to the instruction of health and safety, technical subjects, career readiness, management and entrepreneurship, and technological skills required for workplace success.

As we move to a remote learning model, our CVTE teachers, support staff, and administrators are dedicated to supporting the needs of our students. In addition, to their individual communication (i.e., Google Classroom, ASPEN, videos, recorded lessons, paper packets, phone calls, or other teacher created platforms) we have also collected resources shared by our Quincy Public School educators to help keep your students engaged in their learning, creative experiences as well as their health and well-being, as we move forward during these unprecedented school closures.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
