Thanksgiving is a busy time at NQHS! Please note that Monday and Tuesday are full days of school. Wednesday is an early release day; dismissal will occur at the end of the Thanksgiving Rally (between 10:30 and 11:00 AM). There is no school on Thursday and Friday. Happy Thanksgiving!
Tuesday, November 14 will be an early release day for all students; dismissal is at 12:38 PM. The blocks meeting are A-C-D-B.
Grades close for the first term on Thursday, November 9. Report cards will be available in Aspen on or around November 16.
Congratulations to 114 members of NQ’s Class of 2018 who have been awarded the Adams Scholarship for achievement on the MCAS. Students must have scored Advanced in at least one MCAS-tested subject and have scored in the top 25% among all members of the class of 2018 in the district. Students will be recognized at a ceremony on November 3.
All students and families are invited to the annual College Fair on Thursday, October 12 from 6 to 8 PM in the NQHS Gym. Over 100 college and university admission representatives from the New England area and beyond will be on hand to provide valuable college admission information. Please note parking will be available both in front of and behind the school.
Tuesday, October 10 is an early release day for all students. Dismissal time is 12:38 PM. It will be DAY 2 and the blocks meeting are: B-C-A-HR-E.
Parents and guardians of seniors are invited to a College Planning Presentation on Friday, October 6, beginning at 8 AM in the NQHS Auditorium. Topics will include: the college application process, SAT requirements, and financial aid/scholarships. Contact the Guidance office for more information (617-984-8747).
