English Language Arts MCAS – March 26 & 27

All tenth grade students will take the English Language Arts MCAS on March 26 and 27.  Students will report to their testing rooms by 7:45 AM.

All non-testing students have delayed starts on both days (10:38 AM tardy bell).  The classes meeting are:

Tuesday, March 26

E (10:38 – 12:38)

G (12:43 – 2:30)

Wednesday, March 27

A (10:38 – 12:38)

C (12:43 – 2:30)

The 2019-2020 course selection process is underway.  All families attending NQHS in 2019-2020 are invited to the Course Selection Information Program on Wednesday, March 13, at 6:30 PM.  The program will begin in the school’s auditorium.  Computer labs will open for Aspen access and individual review of courses.  Administrators and counselors will be on hand.

Basketball Doubleheader- Friday, January 25

North Quincy High School hosts Quincy High School in a basketball doubleheader on Friday, January 25.  The girls start the action at 5:30 PM; the boys tip off at 7 PM.

North Quincy High school is closed December 24 through January 1.  Classes resume January 2, 2019.  It will be Day 3.  Happy Holidays!

Maintaining E-mail communication

There is currently an issue with Quincy Public Schools email communications to parent/guardian emails ending in:,,,, and   For the last few weeks, the server for these email systems are seeing “” as SPAM and rejecting our incoming emails.  City IT has requested several times for this restriction to be lifted, but there is still a block in place.

If you have one of these an email addresses, please contact NQHS at 617-984-8745 to provide an alternate email address if possible.
