On Friday, October 27, 2017 12 Quincy High School IT students attended an event at the Second Annual OCD Tech Capture the Flag Event.  These students competed against 4 other area schools in a game of cyber capture the flag in an online Jeopardy-style format.  The Event was hosted by OCD Tech of Braintree in honor of National Cyber Security Awareness Month.

During the game, students challenged themselves to work through several security situations and find solutions.  Each solution provided a flag worth varying numbers of points.  The Quincy High School Cyber Capture the Flag Team took first place overall with an average player score of 225 points. Leading the scorers for Quincy High School was Junior Donald Hurld with an individual score of 430.
