On Tuesday, November 10, Reebok International presented a donation of $50,000.00 to Quincy Public Schools to fund “Emily Z’s BOKS Quincy” before-school exercise program at all sixteen elementary and middle schools in Quincy. BOKS (Build Our Kids Success) is an initiative of the Reebok Foundation and complements Quincy Public Schools’ Health and Wellness goals of providing opportunities for physical activity both within the school day and beyond the bell. This donation is the first of four annual planned gifts to be given by Reebok in memory of Central Middle School teacher Emily Zarnoch. Several elementary schools are in their third school year of hosting the BOKS program and at the November 10 event over thirty BOKS leaders were trained to implement the program citywide.
