Quincy Public Schools Superintendent Richard DeCristofaro is pleased to announce the following changes in the leadership and administration of the Quincy Public Schools:
Rita Bailey has been named Coordinator of Health Services. Rita has been the school nurse and wellness team leader at the Snug Harbor Community School since 2005 and prior to joining the Quincy Public Schools, was a nurse at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Centrus Home Care, and Quincy Medical Center.
Stacey Bucci is the new Assistant Principal at Broad Meadows Middle School. Stacy began her Quincy Public Schools career as a Guidance Counselor at Central Middle School from 1994 through 1998 and then Broad Meadows from 1998 to 2003. Stacy was appointed Assistant Principal at Central in 2003 and then moved to Point Webster, where she has been Assistant Principal since 2005.
Susan Shea Connor has been appointed Assistant Principal of Central Middle School. After beginning as a student teacher and then a classroom teacher at the Broad Meadows Middle School, Susan moved to London, where she spent nine years as a teacher, team leader, and dean at the American School. For the last two years, Susan has been a teacher leader at the John P. Holland Elementary School in Boston.
Rebecca McInnis is the new Chapter 74 Department Chair at Quincy High School. Rebecca has been an instructor of developmental education for high school students and adults in the Southeastern Regional School District since 1995, including creating the curriculum for Computerized Technology and Marketing courses.
Aliza Schneller has been appointed Assistant Principal of the Point Webster Middle School. Aliza has been the Foreign Language Department Chair at North Quincy High School since 2008, and has been a French teacher at North Quincy since 2003.
