On Saturday, January 18, students representing all 351 cities and towns in Massachusetts gathered at the State House where Governor Deval Patrick welcomed these ambassadors to their Day of Service.  Ambassadors are Grade 8 students nominated by their schools who exemplify leadership with kindness, compassion, humility, and generosity of spirit.  Quincy Public Schools once again had three Ambassadors to proudly represent our city and schools at this event:  Sydney Shuttlesworth from Broad Meadows, Meleah Chase from Sterling, and Myrna Mathieu from Point Webster.  Teachers also volunteered to be part of this service project and Mr. Adams (Broad Meadows) and Ms. Cunniff (Point Webster) worked alongside the students at the Greater Boston Food Bank.
