While Quincy Community Planting, Snug Harbor Summer School, STEM Summer, Summer YouthWorks, and SWELL Academy complete their second week, and the Developmental Learning Centers, Summer School (Middle and High School), and Bridge to Reading are finishing their first week, it is a great pleasure to say that Quincy Public Schools Summer Scene 2013 is successfully off and running. The only program yet to begin is Summer Institute. Available for students in grades Pre-K to 5, the program will start on Monday, July 15th at Beechwood Knoll from 9AM to 12PM. Students who haven’t yet may register at Beechwood Knoll during the start day. Summer Institute offers a variety of fun and enriching programs such as The ABC’s of Kindergarten, Krafty Kids, LEGO Robotics, and Windows Wizards. Please feel free to view the Summer Scene 2013 Brochure to learn more. Lastly, it is important to point out that ownership of such an exceptional start can be shared by the administrators, facilitators, teachers, community members, parents/guardians, and most importantly the students.
