Dec 132012

At the December 12, 2012 School Committee Meeting, the winners of the American Education Week Poster and Essay Contest were recognized by the School Committee.  Each Quincy Public School submitted posters and essays on the topic “How My Education Can Influence My Future?” and a panel of retired teachers evaluated the submissions and selected the winners.

First, second, and third place winners were invited to attend the School Committee meeting, along with their teachers, principals, and assistant principals.   Students were presented with certificates of achievement and a gift certificate.  The first place winners presented their poster or read their essays.  Congratulations to all of the winners and their teachers!
