Theatre Arts Program
Our Theater Arts Program involves Chorus, Drama, Dance and Band.
Chorus – Atlantic’s Chorus meets before school for grades 7 and 8 and culminates in performances for students and parents.
Drama – Our Drama program is open to all students. Rehearsals are held after school and techniques of acting and singing are introduced.
Dance – Atlantic’s Dance Ensemble is open to all students. Students are introduced to jazz, modern, lyrical, tap, hip hop and various cultural dances from different parts of the world. Their work culminates in an evening performance for parents.
Band– Atlantic’s Band is open to all students. Performances are held at school and off site.
Camp Burgess is an outdoor educational facility that offers many activities that teach students about the environment and the importance of teamwork, as well as increasing their self-confidence. This activity is a four day winter outward bound experience on Cape Cod, for our sixth grade class.
Atlantic’s partnership with the YMCA involves after school and Saturday programs such as Mountain Movers and skiing.
Students who need assistance with their school work have a professionally staffed center made available to them after school.
